COURSE PAYMENT:
Booking fee: You are paying a non-refundable booking fee to reserve your course date.
The balance is paid to Beauty Necessities who will contact you by email with instructions on how to pay if necessary.
Balance payments: the balance payment will need to be made in full on receipt of tutor payment details within 7 days this will confirm your booking.( Balance payments are also non-refundable.)
A course booking is not confirmed until FULL payment has been received within 7 days of course booking.
NO holding of courses and no cash payments on the day of training are NOT accepted.
COURSE CANCELLATION: In the event of a complete cancellation by a student the full course fee is lost.
If you cancel your course less than 14 days before the course date, you will lose the full course fee. Only your own personal illness will exempt you from loss of fees.
A doctor’s letter or a medical sick note will be required a change of course date will be arranged.
Failure to attend a course: If you fail to attend a course without notice the full course fee is lost.
Only your own personal illness will exempt you from loss of fees if on the day of the course, you are unable to attend due to illness you must inform your tutor as soon as possible. A doctor’s letter or a sick note will be required to request a change of course date.
Change of course date: with good notice( ie no later than 14 days before the course date) your tutor may be willing to change the date of your course.
Delayed courses: all courses must be taken within 6 months of the booking fee being paid. Any longer delay in taking the courses will result in the full course fee being forfeited.
ASSESSMENT:
Assessment of courses: the vast majority of students will pass their course on the day. However, occasionally a tutor may deem that the student has not reached competency. In this situation, students will need to return for extra practice of a treatment/routine and re-assessment. An extra charge will be made for this.
COURSES WITH ONLY 1 STUDENT: courses will still run if there is only one student but you will need to bring a friend or family member on whom to practise. It is the responsibility of the student to find a model. Tutors may try and provide models if you are finding it difficult to bring one yourself but this cannot be guaranteed and is entirely at the discretion of the tutor.
If you are unable to find a model and cancel the course less than 14 days before the course date if not being able to find a model as the reason, you will lose your course fees. (See paragraph above re course cancellation.)
MODELS: All models must be over 16, in good health and not have any contraindications. You will receive an email regarding contra-indications relevant to the procedure you are learning. It is your responsibility to check contra-indications carefully before the day of training. If you have any doubts please contact your tutor well in advance of the course date.
If your model is found to have any contra-indication on the day of training, the course cannot go ahead. You will need to rebook at full cost.
Models for waxing must be prepared to have all necessary areas waxed.
If models are pregnant, no massage is allowed in the first trimester and they MUST gain written GP or midwife approval to receive a massage.
All of the above regarding contra-indications and health apply to you the student if you are exchanging treatments with another student.
Models and students for Lash Perm, Lash & Brow Tinting & Shaping for Health & Safety and insurance reasons a patch test MUST be carried out on yourself and your model 48 hours prior to these courses. This can be done either at the training venue if you live nearby or by yourself, having purchased your own kit, which you must bring on the training day.
Note re models for some venues/courses: Some venues require you to bring a model for all courses regardless of the number of people on the course. Please check with your tutor regarding this.
Refresher courses: You are required to provide copies of your certificates before attendance on the day; please send an email to head office. Please bring your notes for your procedure/routine so that you can refresh your treatment as it has been taught to you.
Occasionally a tutor may decide that one day is insufficient to bring your skills up to the required standard. In this case, extra study time will be arranged at an extra cost. This is entirely at the discretion of the tutor and is always designed to meet your training needs.
Timing of courses: Timing of classes is at the tutor’s discretion. Classes can and do end earlier/later than stated depending on size, even or odd student numbers and other factors. If it is a one to one, we often finish earlier.
Insurance: All of our courses are accredited by the Beauty Guild who offer full insurance cover for all of our qualifications. It is the student’s responsibility to check with their own insurance provider that they will recognise our courses for insurance purposes.

Lost items – Holistic Heaven Training and Beauty Necessities take no responsibilities for any valuables or possessions or vehicles whilst you are on our tutors’ premises.
Additional Beauty Necessities Terms and Conditions:-
A) Dress
Clean smart overall with trousers or suitable skirt with flat comfy shoes, hair tied back if long.
B) NO MOBILE PHONES ON DURING COURSES break times only.
C) Lunch
Please bring your own pack lunch, soft drinks and tea and coffee are provided during breaks.
D) Certification
All certificates will be given on completion of the course, if the teacher is satisified with training by the student. They will come directly from Amethyst Holistics.
E) Insurance
This is obtainable from your own existing beauty insurance or recommendations can be given.
F) Health and Safety
Students will have to comply with all regulations.
G) Consultation Form(s)
These will apply with all courses booked/student and model.
H) Bring Note book, pen, smart top or Beauty therapist overall, flat comfortable shoes, Lunch and camera.
Be prepared to work on another student or person.
Beauty Necessities reserves the right to decline the application of a student booking.
Course Payment by card/cash or Bacs on line banking is due within 10 days when your course is booked and you have had your course confirmation email from Beauty Necessities.
